Here is a bit about Nancy:
As an artist working in many forms, Nancy said that there’s nothing as satisfying as picking up a handful of clay and shaping beads. No matter what the idea or inspiration, she is able to express it through jewelry making. The history of bead-making is astonishing and she loves being inspired by and continuing this ancient expression of culture.
Nancy has been a working artist and educator for over 40 years, with experience in many visual art forms including painting, printmaking, graphic design, sculpture, metal-smithing, glass, and currently, ceramic hand-building. Nancy maintains a ceramic studio in Rochester in the Anderson Arts Building, and an outdoor ceramic studio in rural Greenwood, NY, a source of great inspiration for her work. She is active in the Rochester arts community and has exhibited widely. Nancy is a member of the Arena Art Group and hosts regular First Friday openings in her studio
